Moo Moo is here...
i think everyone must be busy with visitings and accepting "ang pow" now...
well, as matter of fact, i'm not really busy with all these except for online-ing and watching TV most of the time...
and of course, i've been eating and eating and eating since i got back for the festive season..
so, let's recap of what i've been doing since CNY eve...
during CNY eve, i was busy preparing the foods for the reunion dinner...
i was "forced" to be the kitchen helper for the day as u guys would know that there was no other "suitable" candidate for the task...
wahahahaha...
BUT!!! there was a but...
but the menu was set by my aunt and my mom( so unfair!!! )...
ok... anyway, my maid was the chef and i was her assistant...
so, we started cooking at 4.30pm because the dinner would start at 7pm...
before the clock stroke 7pm, we already finished it except for the steamed fish...
however, my uncle still haven't come yet...
so, we waited and waited until 7.30pm and at last, we could dig in...
Clockwise : Fa Da Chai ( the vege dish.. chai = vege in mandarin ), Yee Lu Shun Fong ( the fried YEE mee ), Jing Yi Man Tang ( the golden brown chicken ) and 快快乐乐( always full with laughters.. like HE HE HE(hokkien) or HAHAHA (cantonese))
actually, there was another 2 dishes which the "Nian Nian You Yu" soup and the "Chai Por" steamed fish...
just that i forgot to take the picture because we were so hungry and we just gorging in the food...
then, we waited for the countdown moment...
and yes, the fireworks started to light up the sky and the loud firecrackers started to awakening and welcoming Mr. Ox once the needle stroke 12am...
IT'S NEW YEAR, MOOOO~~~!!!
ok, then on the 2nd day of CNY, we went to my aunt's house for dinner...
here's what she prepared...
yummy yummy...
all my favourite food...
the pig's stomach soup!!!! yay!!!
the vineger pig's trotter!!! yay!!!
the ayam masak merah!!! yay!!!
and yesterday, our gang had a steamboat-cum-gathering dinner in VV's house...
a record broken again!!!
with 13 close friends gathered together again, was a memorable get-together and worth celebrating for...
and thanks to VV for sacrificing her house and her time for us...
thank you very much, Vi Vian!!
while we were cleaning up, my Nya Nya Chua called me from Bristol...
everyone wished and talked to her through the phone...
it was really thoughtful of her for making the call back..
really happy to hear from her...
Chua, i miss u a lot!!!
so, here's some of the behind the scenes i took last night..
