it is an exhibition about AIDS as today is the World AIDS Day...
as a volunteer for the event, I really love the concept of the exhibition...
it is a life experiencing journey where visitors put themselves in the shoe of those children...
there are 3 stories/journeys where the visitors can experience...
walking into their lifes and see how they cope with their lifes where AIDS ppl are all around them...
u can see the condition/environment they are staying, how they brace up themselve as a HIV+ carriers n continue their life with the help of World Vision Organization....
if there is a chance, it is encourage to visit the exhibition itself...
going through the life of others for a moment...
actually, when i walked into the room of a girl called Jothi from India, i was really shocked with her living condition...
the emotion really flowed in me..
even now, when i think back the scenes that i walked through, i felt like crying...
but anyhow, this kind of experience can't be described by words...
it will be better if u guys experience it....
i'm really happy for myself n my frens for doing a good deed...
n i really wish i could continue to involve in more voluntary n charity works..
it really open my mind to see what life means...
we only have 1 life...
n how are we going to live with it is all depends on ourselves...
do u wanna waste all ur time slogging for the money n leisure??
or u wanna involve in more meaningful things like bringing hope n happiness to those who really need it while u still can survive with an average salary??
it is all depends on urself..
so think about it...
ok... tat was the first happy n sad thing that i've experienced last weekend..
the 2nd happy thing that i experienced last weekend was having a great time buying my storybooks....
suprised??
yeah... i bought many books but no shirts/pants...
wahahahahaha....
i bought 6 storybooks from Border which costed me RM137.30...
horrible,rite??
but i will claim my money from my mummy because she will claim it from income tax(the rebate)...
wahahahaha...
i bought
3 storybooks by Cecelia Ahern
" Tuesdays with Morrie" (introduced by Chua)

" The Last Lecture"(introduced by Jeanette n also Chua)

"Eat, Pray, Love" (introduced by Oprah Winfrey n mummy wants it)
enough for promoting the books...
when i got back last nite,as usual, i onlined n checked Jeanius Forum...
i was kinda shocked n sad when i heard the news that there was 1 newspaper wrote that Mediacorp purposely created a mute n deaf role for Jeanette in "The Little Nyonya"..
wat a bullshit...
n when i read Jeanette's blogs, i could feel that she's really upset n hurt by those comments...
all her efforts n hard work was demolished by those nasty remarks when the show just aired for 4 episodes...
even her talking character hasn't out yet, but they d said she cant speaks well for the role..
it really hurt her a lot...
anyway, i hope she is fine now n be strong to face all those nasty comments though it was all bullshits, nonsenses, unreasonable remarks n etc...
Jeanette,
Jia you!!! believe in urself!!!
we will always support u!!
stay happy!!!
